Auchentoshan
distillery gives a nod to 200 Years of
history with the release a 24 Year Old bourbon and sherry cask
matured single malt whisky, the oldest
expression yet from the Lowland Glasgow
based distillery.
 Auchentoshan Distillery has unveiled its
most mature offering yet: a Auchentoshan
24 Year Old expression commemorating the
distillery’s bicentennial milestone
(1823-2023) while embracing a promising
future for its dynamic single malt.
Exclusively available in global travel
retail, the Auchentoshan 24 Year Old can
be found solely at Taiwan duty-free
outlets, in collaboration with Ever Rich
Duty Free. A limited allocation of 774
bottles has been designated, with a
suggested retail price of US$270.
Remaining steadfastly forward-thinking,
Auchentoshan keeps its gaze fixed on the
horizon, advocating for the enjoyment of
life in good company. Renowned for its
versatile range, the distillery offers
premium whiskies that are approachable
and ideal for sharing.
Distinguished in Scotland for its triple
distillation method, Auchentoshan crafts
a spirited and fruity distillate that
matures in the cask to yield a smooth
and pleasurable whisky cherished
worldwide. The latest 24 Year Old
bottling is said to strike an impeccable balance
between distillery character and cask
influence, presenting the unmistakable
Auchentoshan style through the unique
perspective of extended aging, imbued
with abundant fruit, subtle spice, and
oak nuances.
Crafted through a blend of American
bourbon and European oak sherry casks,
this whisky is said to deliver a rich
flavour profile characterised by ripe
gooseberry and luscious green grape
notes, leading to indulgent hints of
chocolate-covered almonds, plump
raisins, and golden honey. It
harmoniously merges the vivacity of
youthful Auchentoshan with the depth and
intricacy acquired from more than two
decades of maturation.
Distillery Manager Susan Williamson

of distilleries to reach their third

quality and versatility of our whisky
that the horizon looks so bright.

pass us by without bottling something
special, so this 24 year old is a nod to
