release Batch 14 of its popular single
cask bottlings.

Batch 14 of its popular single cask
bottlings.
Notably
the BenRiach
Batch 14 is a smaller and younger but no less
interesting outturn of 7 single
casks that were all bottled in June 2017 and
will all soon be available from
specialist whisky shops such as
Master of
Malt.
The 7 single casks in the BenRiach Batch
14 have been hand-selected by BenRiach's
Whisky Maker Rachel Barrie for the
unique taste experience each one offers.
The release consists of 5 peated and 2
unpeated single malts, each of which
have been fully matured in a single
cask, no cask finishes in this batch and
interestingly this Batch 14 is relatively young in comparison to
previous batches with the youngest in
this release being 9 year old and the
oldest 12 year old which should make it
more accessible to whisky drinkers
regards the price.
As always the variety sets BenRiach’s
single cask series apart, including
whiskies in the classic Speyside style,
peated and unpeated expressions matured
in a variety of casks such as First Fill
Oloroso Sherry, First Fill Virgin Oak,
First Fill Port Pipe, Port Pipe and
First Fill Marsala Hogshead.
As with all of the BenRiach single cask
releases they are individually
hand-numbered, non chill filtered,
bottled at natural colour and presented
in a gift tube, each single cask is
truly unique.
Whisky Maker Rachel Barrie describes
