unveil Big Peat Christmas 2017 Edition,
the 7th annual release in the peaty cask
strength series.

It seems like that festive bunch at
Douglas Laing just cant wait for
Christmas to come around, once again
they are the first whisky company to
drop a message in my mail box mentioning
Christmas, in fact it has become almost
traditional that the Glasgow based
bottler lets us know in early September
that summer is coming to an end and that
the latest limited release of Big Peat
Christmas Edition is on his way once
again.
Big Peat’s Christmas 2017 Edition which
the folks at Douglas Laing describe as
"a cask strength, smoky blast that
delivers the ultimate taste of Islay
Whisky" is as usual bottled at cask
strength which this year is 54.1% ABV
and of course natural colour and non
chill-filtered.
As always the peaty blended malt
contains whiskies from your favourite
Islay operating distilleries as well as
a top secret amount from the long time closed Port
Ellen.
This has been a consistently high
quality blended malt whisky series and you
really wont find a more festive
Christmas whisky gift to buy for a peaty
whisky lover, this years very festive
looking bottle features Big Peat bracing a blizzard battering
his island home of Islay.
