has revealed not one but four limited
edition whiskies to mark the Chinese
Year of the Dragon 2024. They are
offering a Rock Island Cask Strength
bottling as well as 3 whiskies from
their their esteemed Single Cask
selection - Old Particular Craigellachie
10 Years Old, XOP Bunnahabhain 35 Years
Old and an XOP Carsebridge 46 Years Old.
Glasgow based independent Scotch whisky
distillers, blenders, and bottlers,
Douglas Laing & Co has revealed not one
but four limited edition whiskies to
mark the Chinese Year of the Dragon
2024.
With a RRP of £55 from their popular Rock Island Scotch
blended malt whisky brand they have
released a Cask Strength bottling to
mark the Year of the Dragon, this
expression has been uniquely finished in
fiercely charred 'crocodile casks.'
Embracing the pure essence of whisky,
free from colorants or chill-filtration,
aligning seamlessly with Douglas Laing's
commitment to bottling whisky in its
most natural form.
This new release pays tribute to the
pivotal role of wood in crafting Scotch
Whisky, highlighting the significance of
charring and its profound influence on
the resulting spirit.

on Scotland’s Whisky islands. The
resulting spirit boasts a complex
balance of maritime flavours, with waves
of sweet, salty, smoky, and earthy
notes.
From their esteemed Exceptional Single
Cask selection, three Limited-Edition
bottling's emerge to mark the Year of
the Dragon 2024 – and each of these remarkable spirits was
distilled during a past 'Year of the
Dragon' – 2012, 1988 & 1976. The

designer and tattoo artist, Milkabean,

bottles with intricate and stunning
Chinese Dragon illustrations, paying
homage to the forthcoming 2024's Wood
Dragon.
