range of whiskies which they have
created for our pleasure will be pleased
to hear that the folks at Compass Box
today released the Compass Box Hedonism
Quindecimus 15th Anniversary Limited
Edition, to mark 15 years of whisky
making for the company. Has it really
been 15 years, I still think of Compass
Box as being one of the fresh new whisky
brands.
Now in this their fifteenth anniversary year,
Compass Box felt it was time to go back
to where it all started for them and
reinvent Hedonism once more for a very
limited edition celebratory bottling.
Hedonism Quindecimus uses grain whiskies
of varying ages from five distilleries
to create what Compass Box describes as
a "riotous, intergenerational
celebration of all that the interplay
between grain spirit and American oak
can deliver. The joie de vivre of youth
and complexity of age combine to create
something seductive, mouth-coating and
irresistible".
The 15th Anniversary Limited Edition is
a release of 5,689 bottles, bottled in
February 2015and as we have come to
expect from Compass Box it is not
chill-filtered and natural colour with a
strength of 46% ABV.
The blended grain whisky draws on grain
whiskies of varying ages (none younger
than twenty years) from four
distilleries, Hedonism Quindecimus
brings together the joie de vivre of
youth and complexity of old age to
create something seductive,
mouth-coating and irresistible.
Hedonism Quindecimus is available now in
the UK from and Europe, and in the next
month or so in Canada, South Africa and
Asia. It will be released in the US on
1st June 2015.

Edition has a price tag of £128 and is now available from whisky
specialist shops such as
