Just in time
for summer, Cutty Sark launches its
first Ready To Drink can in the U.S.
which contains its signature serve, a
Cutty Sark & Ginger Ale Highball.

Cutty Sark Blended Scotch Whisky has
launched its first ready-to-drink (RTD)
product in the U.S., just in time for
summer. The new offering, the Cutty Sark
& Ginger Ale Highball, delivers the
brand’s signature serve in a convenient,
portable can.
This marks Cutty Sark’s debut in the
rapidly growing RTD category and makes
it the first blended Scotch whisky brand
to introduce this style of canned RTD on
a global scale. The Highball combines
Cutty Sark’s original blended Scotch
with the crisp, zesty flavour of ginger
ale, offering a perfectly balanced and
refreshing drink that’s easy to enjoy.
Established in 1923 and inspired by the
legendary tea clipper of the same name,
Cutty Sark has always embraced a spirit
of adventure. It gained popularity
during the Prohibition era by
introducing a smoother, more
approachable Scotch tailored to American
tastes.
At the core of this new RTD is Cutty
Sark Original, known for its smooth,
accessible profile. It’s crafted from a
selection of premium Speyside single
malts and top-quality grain whiskies,
resulting in a fruity character
complemented by soft vanilla notes.
Stephen Woodcock, Master Blender at
Cutty Sark commented: "The Cutty Sark &
Ginger Ale Highball is the latest
chapter in our 100-year legacy of
pushing boundaries and embracing new
possibilities. It offers whisky
lovers—and anyone after a simple yet
elevated drink—a refreshing, convenient
way to enjoy the iconic taste of Cutty
Sark, wherever their adventures take
them."
The Cutty Sark & Ginger Ale
ready-to-drink is making a strong impact
across the U.S. with a dynamic 360°
marketing campaign, featuring everything
from sampling at whisky events to
eye-catching truck wraps and enhanced
in-store displays. Best enjoyed well
chilled, the Cutty Sark & Ginger Ale
Highball is now available at select U.S.
retailers, priced at $9.99 for a
four-pack. The product is also set to
launch in additional markets, including
Portugal and Bulgaria, later this
summer.
