The Dalmore
and Eraman Duty Free have expanded their
partnership with the exclusive Malaysian
launch of The Dalmore Cask Curation
Series Sherry Edition. This exquisite
release is available in only a few
hand-selected locations worldwide.
Whyte & Mackay
and Eraman Duty Free have strengthened
their long-standing partnership,
showcasing the power of Single Malts by
becoming the sole retailer in Malaysia
to offer the exclusive The Dalmore Cask
Curation Sherry Edition. This whisky
series celebrates the artistry of The
Dalmore and the crucial role of casks in
crafting iconic Single Malts, featuring
the expertise of renowned
fifth-generation winemakers González
Byass from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain.
The Sherry Edition includes three
exceptional age-statement whiskies—26
Year Old, 28 Year Old, and 43 Year
Old—each finished in González Byass
casks. Presented in bespoke,
hand-crafted, leather-finished cases,
only 20 sets were made available in
travel retail worldwide.
The Single Malt
Scotch category is pivotal for Eraman
Duty Free, driving growth in travel
retail and increasing average passenger
spending while attracting new shoppers.
In 2023, the category experienced a
remarkable 93% year-on-year growth, with
Malt Whisky sales in the first quarter
of 2024 up another 36%, fuelled by the
Prestige and Prestige Plus offerings.
As the third-ranked luxury Malt brand in
travel retail (IWSR), The Dalmore has
significantly contributed to this
growth, with the brand outperforming the
broader category with a 115%
year-on-year increase and a 49% rise in
the first quarter of 2024 alone.
In this context, Whyte & Mackay and
Eraman Duty Free are enhancing their
partnership by offering shoppers The
Dalmore Cask Curation series,
prominently showcased on a dedicated
plinth in the luxury spirits area of the
Eraman Duty Free store. This release
coincides with Eraman Duty Free's
efforts to elevate the overall consumer
experience, leading to increased
footfall and sales.

Finish was distilled in 1996 then matured in American
white oak ex-Bourbon casks and finished
