The
dawn has been worshipped by
civilisations for millennia. It is
fitting then, that Eos, Titan goddess of
the dawn, should lend her name to
Dalmores 59
year old single malt, an expression to
be equally revered.
Eos is sister to Selene, Dalmores highly
prized 1951 vintage and was selected
from the same two outstanding sherry
casks. Having been left to slumber for
another year, the whiskies are now even
more intense and evocative.
Just 20 decanters containing this spirit
will ever see the light of day. Made
from mouth blown Portuguese crystal,
painstakingly hand cut and adorned with
beautiful silver highlights. The
decanter is then safely encased in a
precious, yet robust solid steel box,
inlaid with dark timber to protect it
over the decades to come.
