Fielden
Whisky reveals summer partnerships to
promote regenerative farming practices
starting on 17 May in partnership
with Daylesford Organic, followed by an
appearance at the RHS Chelsea Flower
Show in London, then in July they will
be the headline whisky sponsor at
Groundswell Festival.

The Oxford Artisan Distillery which was
decommissioned in May 2022, was
rebranded as Fielden Whisky and the
company did intend to relocate its
production to a new facility in
Yorkshire boosted by a minority
investment from Diageo’s Distil Ventures
to support its growth.
Given the recent news regarding Diageo's
withdrawal of any further funding into
Distil Ventures, Fielden is now
currently reviewing their future
production plans.
However since May 2022 Fielden Rye whisky has
been produced in partnership with Adnams
at their iconic Copper House Distillery
located in Southwold, Suffolk, England.
This summer, Fielden Whisky is
highlighting its commitment to
regenerative, low-intervention farming
at a series of prominent countryside and
agricultural events.
Known for its award-winning rye whisky
and pioneering "no chem regen" approach,
Fielden advocates for chemical-free,
heritage grain farming to promote soil
health, biodiversity, and high-quality
whisky production. With an expanding
network of farming partners across more
than 1,400 UK acres, the brand is
reshaping the conversation around
sustainability in the spirits industry.
Fielden’s summer season launches on 17
May in partnership with Daylesford
Organic for the first event in
Daylesford’s Love The Land series. Soil
& Supper—an evening of feasting, music,
whisky, and dance—draws inspiration from
the ancient English Rogationside ritual,
celebrating the land and seasonal
living, values shared by both Fielden
and Daylesford.
Next, Fielden will appear at the RHS
Chelsea Flower Show in London, unveiling
a collaboration with Kent Wildflower
Seeds and artist Francis Costelloe.
Their exhibit—a traditional cottage
garden framed by a painted backdrop of
Fielden’s rye fields—challenges the
notion of wildflowers as weeds and
celebrates biodiversity. Visitors can
sample Fielden’s signature rye whisky
while learning about its regenerative
farming methods.
In July, Fielden will be the headline
whisky sponsor at Groundswell Festival
(2–3 July), a key gathering for the
regenerative farming movement. The brand
will host two exclusive banquets,
operate the only dedicated whisky bar
on-site, and offer tastings throughout
the event, deepening its role as a
thought leader in sustainable spirits.
Beyond events, Fielden is expanding its
retail footprint with a limited edition
release at Fortnum & Mason, a new
listing at Daylesford’s Cotswold store,
and a national debut on Ocado this
summer.
From planting heritage grains across 15
farms to using clover as a natural
alternative to chemicals, Fielden’s
nature-first philosophy ensures thriving
crops and exceptional flavour—proving
that responsible farming and premium
whisky can go hand in hand.
David Smith, CEO of Fielden Whisky,
commented: "We take great pride in being
at the forefront of the farming
conversation within the whisky industry.
Our summer partnerships are a reflection
of our commitment to showcasing the
impact that responsible farming has on
the quality of our whisky. By supporting
regenerative practices, we’re not only
helping to preserve the land for future
generations, but also enhancing the
whisky experience for consumers who are
eager to learn about the origins of
what’s in their glass."
Fielden’s new limited edition release
with Fortnum & Mason is available
in-store this week, priced at £135 and
you will find Fielden Rye Whisky available
for around £62.50 from
specialist online whisky shops such as
The Whisky Exchange,
The Whisky Shop,
and
