The oldest bottle in my collection is a Cowies Blue Seal dated 1890-1910 by Martin Green in 1996.
The Cowies Blue Seal Whisky is believed to have been bottled for George Cowie

I make most of my barrels from new American Oak, also have used new French Oak, and wood from ex whisky and sherry barrels. The wood is either lacquered or just waxed.
