Just checked out whiskybase and they reckon number of bottles released was 3250 bottles for Macallan folio 5. Cannot verify if true or not but seems in line with the last releases.

I'm not a drinker but love to collect whiskey. I have macallan no 1-4. Should I buy a lot of the macallan No 5? It's going for $150 by where I live.

Perhaps someone at Macallan has finally asked why they need to bother supplying details about casks and peat content when nobody is opening them anyway...
