| I hope you enjoy your day an i am sure you will enjoy the Port Ellen, those 2 bottlings are very rare to come by now. Whats the price on them out of interest. |

Personally i have had a few bottles of Port Ellen, both original distillery bottlings and independent bottlings mainly from Douglas Laing and i have never been disappointed, such a shame ... |

| Excellent news about the Port Charlotte and Octomore 10 to come, great to have another big peated Islay to choose from that hopefully will be a decent affordable everyday drinking price. |

| I stick mainly to original distillery bottlings and i have never come across any sulphur tainted whisky but perhaps i am just not sensitive to it. |

| Good old fairy liquid does it for me also then dried with a glass cloth and comes out odour free. |

I dont find the smell from the glass next morning offensive at all but my wife does and long may it remain that way, 2 of us with a taste for expensive malt whisky
