Maybe the most interesting thing about DL Port Ellen's is that they don't really seem to appreciate, despite the reality of there never ever being any more. I am in the process of liquidating much of my collection (moving overseas, cannot take much of it), but the DL port ellens seem like so much trouble for not much if any return that I may just make them my long-term drinking supply. There are certainly worse fates one could suffer.

I suppose what you choose to take with you depends on what is available overseas, i dont imagine many of your DL Port Ellens will be replaceable overseas.

Lagavulin Distiller's Edition is one of my all time favourite peated sherried whiskies. Ardbeg Uigeadail is also excellent. There was a Bowmore 1990 16 year old aged in sherry casks which was also excellent, but that was a limited edition so expensive now if you can find it, i suppose it is more one for collecting than for drinking now, well depenedning on how much spare cash you have.

Both the Lagavulin Distillers Edition and Ardbeg Uigeadail would be in my favoutite malts list. I cant even think of any other peaty shherried whiskies that comes near them for quality at least not in the around £50 price range.
