I agree with Glengoyne. I love the 10yo for an everyday malt and the 21yo is superb as a nice wee treat.

I'll also add Benromach to the list, a Speysider with a bit more muscle (but still great balance) than the norm. Also, it has possibly the most stylish bottle and label design!

There is a good independent bottling of Braeval named Deerstalker 10 year old it is from a Glasgow independent bottler called Aberko

Be careful though, Aberko also do a Deerstalker 10, 12, 15 and 18 year old.
The 10 and 15 year old is Braeval both can be found for a decent price. The Deerstalker 12 year old is Allt A Bhainne and the 18 year old is Balmenach.

I agree the Braeval Deerstalker 10 year old is worth a go, the Braeval Deerstalker 15 is good also but not as good as the 10 IMO, you can usually find it for around £27.

I will add Longrow to the list, i dont think it is mentioned often enough given its quality, my pick from the range would be the Longrow CV.

been a while since i have had Auchentoshan 3 wood, for me it is Auchentoshans best expression.

I agree William you dont see Aberfeldy mentioned much and it is very good, i picked up 2x1 litre bottles of ithe Aberfeldy 12 for £50 at world duty free in Glasgow just before christmas and put a big dent in one of the bottles over christmas, very easy to drink.

Anyone mention the Glen Spey yet? You can still find the Glen Spey 12 year old Flora & Fauna bottling at a decent price and there are a few decent independent bottlings out their.

Thanks for all your replys, i have put them all together in one list, so this is what you think is under rated and doesnt receive enough praise:

Longmorn 15 and the 16 year old which replaced it.
Mortlach
Glen Elgin
Balblair
Caol Ila
Clynelish 14
Aberlour
Auchentoshan three wood
Ben Nevis 14 sherry and 13 portwood
Tomatin 12, 15, 18
Smokehead, Smokehead Extra Rare, Smokehead Extra Black 18 year old
Mortlach 16 flora & fauna
Aberfeldy 12 and 21
Glenfarclas 17
Glendronach
Glengoyne 10, 12 CS, 17, 21 year old
Benromach
Braeval Deerstalker 10 year old
Longrow CV
Glen Spey 12 year old Flora & Fauna

I must say there are a few here that i am guilty of not considering, but i have a few fresh ideas now on what to order.

Thanks all and if there is any more suggestion feel free to post.
