| I'm surprised there's enough demand for two events to be honest. I'd have thought many whisky drinkers would be like me and, given the option, rather spend the money on buying three or four bottles rather than trying some really expensive stuff. |

Alex i attended both the 2009 and 2010 shows, yes it was expensive but i thought it was worth it. I got to taste some amazing whiskies some way over my budget which was great but i also got to try and compare many within my budget which you dont normally get the chance to try before you buy. I left the show with a list of whiskies that i knew for certain i would enjoy. Each year the mrs came along to London with me so we made a bit of a weekend of it, she enjoyed the shopping while i was at the show and we went out in the evening so we both had a great time. |

| I was just comparing the 2 lists for each of the shows, it certainly looks like the TWE whisky show is attracting the exibitors. |

| I noticed that the original whisky show (not the new TWE whisky show) web site is no longer listing a venue for the show. |

I think the whisky show site needs some updating or perhaps the dates and venue are not confirmed yet. The top of the page states the whisky show dates as the 28th - 29th Oct 2011 which i think will be correct but the events page states show times as Fri 29th - Sat 30th Oct 2011 which must be a typo i as the 29th and 30th are a Sat and Sun.
I think taking the Whisky Show to Edinburgh may attract some people away from the Whisky Fringe in August as hotel prices during the fringe can be high. |

| I wonder if The Whisky Show will have the same licensing legislation problems as the Whisky Fringe especially since the whisky show does not use a voucher system. |
