| A hard one to call, just how much value does the royal connection add. I will say £550 |

Greetings all
New to this forum, my first post. Found you when googling how many English whisky wedding bottles were being produced, I ordered three last as potential heirlooms
By strange coincidence I had the opportunity to have a small sip of the Charles and Diana Wedding Macallan last week. Same thing two expressions from their birth year. Needless to say I took the opportunity - very nice but difficult to say how nice as the bottle is on the last single dram and the owner was reluctant to let me have any more than a sip |

I have just been to St George's. There will be about 3600 bottles and the whisky is made up from a "marriage" of several casks, rum, red wine, port, bourbon.
Please see my whiskyevents forum for more details. It is very nice whisky by the way.

| I havent seen any sign of the new Macallan William & Kate bottling yet. Colman you were lucky to get a taste of the Macallan Charles & Diana Royal Marriage as you hardly even see these bottles coming to auction now and if they did i would guess there value has been given a boost by William & Kates wedding. |

My three bottles of English Whisky Wedding Decanter arrived this week - one for my collection, one for a whisky drinking friends 1st child who was born on Thursday and a third as yet unallocated, possible investment or perhaps I might do something rash like drink it !!
Usual decanter but with royal crest engraved & nicely done outer tube. |

Hello
I was at the distillery yesterday and they don't have the royal wedding bottle in stock yet.
The did describe how the bottle would look, buy have forgotten most of what was said apart from blue lable with gold lettering.
It will only be available in the visitors centre initially, but maybe will appear on their website, unlike their sister distillery Highland Park, they won't be posting the bottles out.
Price will be £150 a bottle and will be limited to one per visitor to the distillery, I was told that someone had said it would be instock on the 11th April
All the best |

Hi eck welcome to the forum and thanks for the info.
I would have thought they would be selling it for more than £150. did they mention how many bottles there are? |
