yep definitely one for the collectors who want to keep it, i dont think it will make that much as an investment considering the £150 starting price at least not in the near future but who knows what it could fetch in 10 years plus. It is certainly not priced to drink.

Sold out on the website after 2 days, though i guess they may get some more from the distillery to sell online - i can't imagine that many people can make it to speyside.

I didnt think it would be around long online, although this one is quite a young whisky the Macallan is still amongst the most collectable whiskies especially a limited edition like this.

i think Macallan will always be way out in front of many other brands when it comes to collectability.

I see the bidding on one bottle ending in just under 2 days is up to £295 +£18 post, it could easily reach £500 i think Shocked

i should have bought a bottle and joined the ranks of the ebay whisky profiteers.

Yes maybe we all should have.

I must admit I'm always a little perplexed by the snootiness displayed by whisky enthusiasts towards those who sell bottles on ebay. We all have the chance to buy these whiskies at the nominal retail price and if some people are enterprising enough to sense they can buy and then sell for a profit, either immediately or some time later, I really don't see what the problem is
