I was drinking the new Glenlivet Founders Reserve at the weekend, it is very good. The Glenlivet have put together a decent whisky which i am sure most will enjoy.

Well i got the urge and tasted the founders, well to me its a jump up ftom the12 and wow i got lots of toffee in the palate, more taste than the 12, still fruity and stll easy to drink.. Enjoyed and saved for another day.

Im hearing people mot enjoying the founder i know its younger but the taste was great for me, got another bottle so alls goo, bargain at £15 too, young checkout lad balls up at till lol.

you cant fault it at £15 a bottle. I do like it, it is very much a crowd pleaser but if I was given the choice I would personally rather have the 12 year old

I am no whisky expert but for me not the best whisky I have ever tasted. Buttery toffee end taste is not to my liking.

I know we are all differend in our tastes and thats fair, to be honest the toffee made it a hit for me, now when i try the 2nd bottle if im still enjoying it then it will be in the cabinet for a few years for sure,
