My favourite on the day (well one of them) was the Adelphi Breath of the Isles 1995, excellent.

I see that Old Puteney 17 year old was awarded Spirit of the Fringe 2011

the runners up were:

I got to try every one of them Very Happy

and all were excellent, my personal winner was Caol ila 30 from Douglas Laing closely followed by Adelphi's Breat of the Isles 1995 which hasnt got a mention in the top 10

Well done to Old Pulteney 17 a great wee dram.

The Glengoyne 24 single cask was very good i thought.

yeh well done to Old Pulteney it appears to have topped some premium drams

There is no doubt the Old Pulteney 17 is a good dram but i wonder did it really receive most votes when it was up against such excellent limited edition whiskies. Displaying a limited edition dram for a year in the RMW shop which is no longer available wouldnt make good business sense, would it Question
