Deadline was 12th October, don't know if they will decide earlier.
The prize is actually 20 bottles per year for 5 years, so donating the 50 bottles isn't so straightforward. |

so if its 20 bottles a year over 5 years just how are you winning that particular cask ? does a cask not hold more than 70ltrs, and why is it over 5 years ? are you not winning a single cask ? is it just thier normal bottles then.. maybe i should have read it ... |

You don't get the cask. The full terms can be found by googling 'caskaway', but having just looked at them again there are parts that seem to be a little confusing e.g.
"the Promoter shall deliver to the lucky Diurach 20 bottles of "cask strength"? Isle of Jura Single Malt Scotch Whisky (the "Whisky"?) of 70cl (size) every year for five years "
followed by
" It shall be at the discretion of the Promoter to deliver more than [twelve] bottles of Whisky per year to the lucky Diurach"
Still, once I win it I won't complain how and when they send it. |

The caskaway competition has chosen a winner Gemma seager , fingers crossed she's one of the members that signed up, but well done anyway to everyone that knocked ,there were over 10,000 knocks so the prize would have been completely free !
Well gemma the forum is waiting for your post.
Never mind it was worth a try!
