| Wanchope i would assume it will be the same as here in the UK, you will have to be a Ardbeg Committee member to purchase any Committee bottling but it is free to join via there site and worth doing if you already havent done so. |

Just got my bottles this morning and just gave it a go. On first try i thought it had a great nose but a little disappointing on the palate, reminds me a little of Corryvreckan although a bit more fruity and the finish could have been longer. Having said that my opinion usually changes when i have had it a few times so i may think it is the best Ardbeg ever come next week.

Welcome to the forum Wanchope. If you check www.ardbeg.com/outposts_us on 1st March you should find a full list of Outposts stocking Ardbeg Rollercoaster in your part of the world.
Alastair | Just checked again and still no sign of a list of Ardbeg outposts yet??? Guess there must be a problem, just wish they would update the web page with some info on what is happening. |

I opened my Rollercoaster last night and gave it a good go.
I enjoyed it like i enjoy all Ardbegs, i think the young whisky in the mix are maybe in charge here.
Nose: A bit of smokey bacon, salty, butter, sweet barley, cut grass.
Taste: Salty, smoky, peppery. An Ardbeg peat fueled campfire with
Finish: Warming with the campfire lingering for a short time. Shorter than i would expect from an Ardbeg.

Just put a dent in one of my bottles of Rollercoaster at the weekend, it went down very nicely. The young whisky it is quite noticable but another enjoyable Ardbeg. Pleased i got the 2 bottles now to give it a good sampling but if given a choice of another bottle or a Corryvreckan i would take the Corryvreckan.

I have to say dispite the price Ardbeg charged for the Rollercoaster i thought it was a very good dram. A very smooth dram for a cask strength, very little water required to reduce the effect of the alcohol strength.
Kieth, i enjoyed the Corryvreckan more but still good to try different expressions of Ardbeg, i wouldnt say no to another couple of bottles of Rollercoaster but it is a pity about there pricing policy. |
