Port Ellen 26 Year Old (Old Malt Cask)

An Old Malt Cask bottling of the now mothballed Port Ellen distillery, from 1983 (the final year of distillation), at 26 years old and 50% ABV, 700ml standard size bottle. One of only 610; a little piece of history, and of obvious value for collectors.

A very rare item indeed, I've only ever seen it on a shelf once before (when I bought it!). Provisionally posting to see if there's any interest in it, hopefully to go to sale if there is.

I have had a look at your ebay listing, £120 is a bit steap to start it on ebay, considering you can purchase it from The Whisky Exchange for £115. i know i would rather buy it from TWE rather than ebay at that price.

Actually, the £115 bottle listed on TWE is for the 1982 bottling. They don't stock the '83. Master of Malt had it for a while at £140.

Last I saw it, Peckhams were selling it for £180 a bottle.
