I have a number of supposedly limited whiskies, and wondered if anyone could help me find out more information on them:
New Century 25YO Single Malt, distilled 24/5/1974, bottled 23/10/2000 - made by Tamnavulin to commemorate the new century. (in a branded Wooden Box with viewing window)
Stillmans Dram 30YO - Fettercairn Single Malt, bottled circa 1995 - 2000 I would imagine (in a branded box with viewing window)
Whyte & Mackay Blended 25YO Millenium whisky - given to staff to celebrate the millenium, signed by James Paterson - Master Distiller (on bottle label) & Brian Megson CEO - on attached small card.
Kyndal - (Dalmore 12 YO) - Single malt - specially made to celebrate the creation of Kyndal (BIMBO of Whyte & Mackay/Invergordon Distilleries from Jim Beam Brands Europe) on 15th October 2001
Bruichladdich 15YO Single Malt - 35ml - As produced before the creation of the current range, ie As sold by Invergordon Distilleries and their subsideries about 8 or so yrs ago, until they sold the distillery. Of this list, this is the only one I've tasted, but wondered if they were still as popular as they were (having polished off a 10, 15 and most of a 21YO).
I'm interested in whether there is much interest in these, and if they have been sampled, and how good they are. Although not really at the moment, but I am a collector of and drinker of whisky, so it would be interesting to know if their Sellers, keepers or drinkers.
Regards
David |

Hi David and welcome to the forum
I think you will find they are all both collectable and drinkable, not worth huge amounts but they may increase in value with time as i dont think you can get hold of any of them very easily now.
I had The Stillmans Dram 30 Fettercairn, light bodied with toffee, honey a bit of spice, dry sherry i would have rated it around 85/100 |

| At first glance i would have assumed they are more collectable than drinkable but just had a look around the search engines and they fetch a lot less than i would have guessed but perhaps as Charlie says they will increase in value with time. |

Cheers
I think at the moment the only one I may open is the bruichladdich, and see how things pan out. Ideally I'd like to taste them all to see if I like them. As if I don't like any of them I'm likely to sell them.
None of them cost very much, and a few were freebies. Ideally I should have got my wife to get James Patterson to individually sign them, or get a letter with them as she worked with him, but nevermind.
Thanks again Charle & Samson, and if anyone else has tasted any of these any input would be great.
