just wonder'n how much a 700ml bottle of the macallan 1947 whisky could b worth?i just got it from my late fathers collection,also if any one would b intrested in buy'n it i think it is real rare but not sure, seal intact thanks.. Smile

The Macallan 1947 will the worth quite a bit, have you looked over at The Whisky Exchange they have a bottle for Â£6100 (not sure if it is the same bottle you have). The 30 year olds will be worth a quite a bit also.

if they are the same the 1947 is selling for Â£6100 at TWE like andy said and the 30yo is around the Â£900 - Â£1000

would recomend contacting andrew bell at mc tears auctioneers to sell them for you!

thank you very much for the info,i did not think the bottles were worth a lot! i will get in contact with andrew bell and see if he can sell them.thank you again.ps the bottles in the pic's are the exact ones.
