| This would make a good partner to the Glenfiddich Foundation Reserve which was also distilled in 1993, not sure what effect the Cerons Sweet Wine cask would have on the whisky though, perhaps too sweet, anyone tried it? |

I did have a sample before bottling myself and was very nice. It was quite sweet but the colouring resembles a Rose wine more than a whisky. I was caught up in the excitement of the day and by the fact the staff at the Glenfiddich shop were all buying their own bottles too.
I had just been to Dufftown's Memorial Hall and had about 20 tasters so my pallette may have been compromised. |
