I just had to give this one a mention. A bottle of Macallan 64 year old Scotch whisky, housed within a Lalique crystal decanter sold at auction this week for an incredible £288000 at Sothebys New York. The good news is it was all in aid of the charity Water.

You could have got almost all 3 bottles of the Dalmore Trinitas for this price. Smile

I would take 1 bottle of Macalan over 3 Dalmore any day.

Good to see the money went to a good cause.
