| Hello everybody just wondering how much this bottle is worth. I am not a whisky drinker but I want someone to enjoy this bottle and I know that it is hard to come by. Any information would be very helpful thanks again. Also it is numbered 5796 of 6000. |

| smitty is this a distillery bottling or independent bottling. Could you post all the info from the label. |

| There was a Port Ellen 1979 22 Year Old, Diageos 1st annual special release. It was a limited edition of 6000 bottles, i would guess this is the one. Have you got a pic and is it still in the box? I have seen a few sell on ebay lately for around £500 - £600. Some of the online whisky shops are asking around £1000 for it. |
