| Just spotted a bottle of Glenury Royal 1970 36 Year Old in TWEs offers section with a massive £300 off. They are selling it for £199. Distilled 1970 and bottled at 57.9% which is huge for a whisky of this age. Wish i had the spare cash at the moment as it is supposed to be a decent whisky and very collectable i would think with the Glenury distillery being closed in 1983 and later demolished. |

Got an email from TWE this evening telling me they have Ballantine's 17 Year Old for £30.99 and also Glenallachie 35 Year Old Sherry Cask which is a TWE own bottling for £99.95 which is £50 off.
Thought i would mention it as it is a good chance to try the Ballantines 17 if you havent already which Jim Murray named World Whisky Of The Year 2011 |
