Hi there
I have been raising money for Kidney Kids Scotland and have been given a rare bottle of whisky to sell. Can you tell me how much this would be likely to get at auction or indeed on a private sale. Was worth £400 when it was made in 2009 - know that the rest of the bottles (or most of them) were all auctioned off for various charities.
THE WHISKY
The Famous Grouse's specially created 37 year old blended malt whisky, signifying every year of Burns' extraordinary life. There were 250 made and none for the retail market
Renowned Scottish artist and playwright John Byrne was commissioned by The Famous Grouse, to create an original drawing of Robert Burns to adorn this limited edition whisky, making it a unique collector's item
Appreciate your thoughts on this.
