I have a 1ltr bottle of Auchentoshan Qe2 12year old, and i am trying to find out its value and if it is worth keeping for a good few years before i sell it, Can aynone help?

| I have seen this selling in whisky shops for around £100 you would expect to get maybe £50 - £60 in a private sale. I would think it will gain more value in time but i wouldnt think it will make you a fortune. |

Thanks Kenny, not looking to make a fortune but who knows what the future holds. I will hold on to it as long as i can as i have allready drunk 2 bottles of it sofar since buying it.

You could get this bottle at the distillery up to the end of 2009 so there will be alot of it around for now!
Like kenny says they have been selling for up to £120 but you are more likely to get the £60 mark for it in a private sale.
My advice is hold onto it for another few years and check the market then! |
