Thought i would give this a mention for all our Irish forum members or maybe you will be visiting Ireland next week. Kilbeggan is celebrating 1 million visitors to the distrillery and on Saturday 10th September you can enjoy Free whiskey tastings, distillery tours (tours normally start from €7), local gourmet food, kids entertainment and music in the afternoon.

The Kilbeggan Distillery welcomed its 1 millionth visitor through its 254 year old gates today, September 8th 2011. To celebrate this milestone, a cask was filled with Kilbeggan Malt with the 1 Millionth visitor, Mr. Erwin Hennefarth from Germany today
