The Rummer and The Woods - Bristol

Thought i'd offer my knowledge; although I realise i'm at the other end of the country from most of the Whisky excitement there are a couple of really good bars in Bristol offering a good selection of single malts

The rummer - Has around 40 bottles including many distiller's editions and rarer malts. Had the pleasure of a Glenfarclas 30 year old here and recently the Lagavulin 2010 distiller's edition. The bar can be found in St.Nicholas's market right in the heart of the city so if you're ever around pop in for a dram or two.

The Woods - Has around 50 bottles at a time and used to do tasting evenings once a month. These have subsided recently but hopefully will be returning soon. Good selection of single malts and had my first Johnnie Walker Blue here a few years back. Only downside is its a bit of a trendy spot for university students. Can be found half way up Park street just before the wills memorial building (very obvious big tower)
