Glenfiddich has unveiled their first ever 19 year old single malt Scotch whisky, which has been matured in oak casks previously used to age fine Madeira wine.
Glenfiddich Madeira Cask Finish was bottled at 40% ABV and will be exclusively available in Global Travel Retail and The Glenfiddich Distillery Shop for one year before rolling into the wider retail market from February 2012.
It has RRP of £75.00 in Global Travel Retail and £90.00 in the Glenfiddich Distillery Shop.

| It doesnt appear to be a limited edition so i would like to hear some reviews before i splash out £75 in the duty free or £90 in a whisky shop. |

According to one seller on ebay it is:

They are are looking for bids over £300 for this rarity but the postage is only £12

Sounds like there are more whiskies to come after this one. | I am sure it will be a very nice whisky as others say i would like to read some reviews before splashing out. Interesting that it is going to be part of some sort of series. |

Hi my hubby is buying this whisky from the distillery shop for someone in south scotland so can easily ask what he thinks of the whisky and let you know, told that they are only getting in 120 bottles into the shop, as said cost is £90 and pity it isn't available in the staff list, could have got a discount  |

Thats crazy prices they are asking for it on ebay . I just bought one at Aberdeen airport and it cost £80 . Will buy a few on the way home now I know it sells on ebay !!! _________________ A Innes |

| I am not sure it actually sells on ebay for these prices, it may just be a case that some chancers are attempting to sell them for these prices. |
