You may have already come across this new bottling from Caol Ila as i believe it has been previewed at Whisky Live in London and Tim over on The Whisky Exchange blog recently gave his thoughts on it and he seemed pretty impressed by it saying "A hugely enjoyable romp through Islay's middle ground."
Caol Ila Moch is bottled at 43% ABV and carries no age statement. Caol Ila Moch is initially being made available to Friends of the Classic Malts in European markets: German, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, France and the United Kingdom. Its UK RRP will be £32.91
In the UK it will be available solely to Friends of the Classic Malts through The Whisky Exchange

| Doesnt look like TWE have added the Caol Ila Moch to the shop yet, just done a search for "Friends of the Classic Malts" on TWE they only have Cragganmore, Glenkinchie and Talisker. |

| This should be interesting, i have enjoyed the the unpeated special releases from Caol Ila but this should be interesting also sounds like it has just a little smoke in it. |

| I see The Whisky Exchange did get some of the Caol Ila Moch but it has sold very quickly. I assume they will be getting more in. Not sure if they informed the Friends of the Classic Malts that it was released as i didnt receive any word about it, in fact i wouldnt have known about it if i hadnt read it on here |

So i have no idea how Friends of the Classic Malts got to know about the Caol ila Moch |
