Auchentoshan 1975 is a limited edition Bourbon matured 35 year old whisky, it is the latest addition to Auchentoshan's series of superb vintage releases from the late 1970s.
It is a limited edition of only 500 bottles and was bottled at 46.9% ABV. It will be available from specialist whisky suppliers from May 2011, with an RRP of £350.
I almost didnt spot your post on this one William. Sounds pretty similar to the Auchentoshan 1978 Bourbon matured limited edition which was excellent but you dont need to take my word for it Jim Murray also loved it, giving it 96/100 in the 2011 whisky bible. I wonder how this new 1975 bourbon matured will match up to the 78
