posting whisky

hi there , alan here , i have just sent a couple of bottles overseas on a trade and found the postage to be quite expensive ! i covered my two bottles for £400 in total and the single package weighed 5.3 kg and it cost me £48 through global value at the post office, i know there are lots of companies out there but a lot of them prohibit alchahol to be carried , are there a few that could be recommended for value , efficiency , cover for damages and carry whisky

I had looked into sending whisky to my brother-in-law when he worked in Germany but it wasnt worth it when i found out the costs.
