Diageo have announce their Feis Ile 2011 bottlings.
Two limited edition single-cask bottlings of Lagavulin and Caol Ila. A Lagavulin 13 year old and a Caol Ila Bodega cask. The Lagavulin single-cask bottling will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at the distillery, starting on the distillery's open day, Saturday 21 May. The Caol Ila bottling will be sold with effect from Monday 23 May which is the Caol Ila open day.
Both bottlings are priced at £79.95 UK RRP per bottle.

yep they is quick off the mark, i see they also have a bottle of Bowmore Lamrig 15 Feis Ile 2011.
Makes some sense doing this as it will cover a lot of your costs to go to the Islay Festival. Although i picture the distilleries being queued out the door with profiteers rather than whisky enthusiasts. |
