Hello,
I have an old 10 Year Old Laphroig 19701s/1980`s.
I`m not sure I have identified or valued it correctly. Some people agree with me but equally others are disagreeing ( in both directions on value).
Anyone got any more informed opinions?
All the best,
Arty.

As the alcohol strength on the label states it is 43%vol, i would think if it was bottled for the UK market and not the US market and as it is a 1 litre bottle it may have been bottled for the UK duty free.

In the UK up until 1980 standard size bottles were 26 2/3 flozs, they then changed to 750ml in 1980. As the bottle size is 1 litre it certainly would have been bottled after 1980.

IMO a 1980s bottle perhaps for the UK duty free shops, you would maybe pay £400 - £500 in a shop for this today and £200 - £300 in a private sale but that is just my opinion.

I would have to agree with mark, looks like it is a UK bottle and like he said from the 80's

As for price i could not tell you as i have not saw one before!

Maybe try emailing mctears for a valuation?
