i see the macallan are going back to wooden box packaging for the 18,21 and 30 year old bottlings.i personally think it`s great as the cardboard box didn`t really cut the mustard.i hope others will follow suit _________________ why oh why are we taxed to death, less tax more whisky
I had read on the Macallan blog that they going back to wooden box packaging but i didnt think it included the 18 year old which has never had wooden box packaging AFAIK.
I think the bottles that are now going to be presented in the new wooden boxes are the Macallan Fine Oak 21, 25 and 30 year old and Macallan Sherry Oak 25 and 30 year old.
your right andy.i got the age statement wrong .i personally like the wooden casings as when i buy a bottling i usually throw away the cardboard ones but tend to keep the bottling in the wooden box.highland park hjarta springs to mind (would look rather boring on its own) imo _________________ why oh why are we taxed to death, less tax more whisky
