Just putting together my next whisky order and debating with myself whether to get the Glanfarclas 17 or stick with my ususal 15 or 21 year old bottle. I have had the Glenfarclas 105, 10,12,15, 21, 25 and 30 but never the 17.

Is the 17 worth a go Question as I never really see it mentioned much

Gregor i would highly recommend the Glenfarclas 17, true it doesnt get mentioned much, probably the 15 you hear mention more. As you already like the Glenfarclas range you will love this i am sure of it.

the 17 is excellent, amongst the best in the Glenfarclas core range IMO

Gregor i would take the 17 before the 15 & 21

Totally agree the Glenfarclas 17 year old is very good and for some reason is often overlooked. Superior to the 21 year old IMO.

They dont seem to push the 17 as much as the 21 and often they are priced about the same price or oddly the 17 can somtimes be more expensive than the 21, it is almost like they recognise that the 17 is better than the 21. For example in TWE at the moment the Glenfarlclas 17 is £61.95 and the 21 is £60.75
