I have recently inherited the following whiskeys and was curious about there approximate value.

Signatory's Unchillfiltered 1988 (Linkwood)

Islay Mist, 17 Year old, Limited edition.

Bruichladdich - Old Malt Cask - 13 Years - Distilled 1988, Bottled 11.2001 - 1 of 336, 700ml, 50%.

St Magdalene 1982, Rare Old, Gordon and MacPhail, Single Malt Scotch whisky.

Rosebank 1979, 20 Year Old, Rare Malts Selection, 60.3%, Natural Cask Strength.

Lochside (1981), Murray McDavid, 70cl 46%.

Glencadam 1987 Gordon & MacPhail, Connoisseurs Choice Range.

Glenmorangie Millennium Malt 12 Year Old, 70cl.

North Port Brechin, Single Highland Malt, Signatory Vintage Scotch Whisky Co. Ltd. Bottled 3/9/2001, 26 years old, Cask no.2960, Bottle no. 168 of 211. Silent Stills.

Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old, Centenary Edition.


1979 Glenrothes Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Vintage, 700ml (cardboard casing)

Macallan (1990) ESC 4 - Cask Filled 27th December 1990, bottled 22nd January 2003. 864 released. Sherry Butt. Cask no 24680. Warehouse No. 16, 50cl, 57.4%.

Macallan (1989) ESC 5 - Cask Filled 19th January 1989, bottled 30th November 2003. 777 bottles released. Oloroso Butt. Cask no. 552. Warehouse No. 40. 50cl, 59.2%.

Glenmorangie Millennium Malt 12 Year Old shop price around £120

Dalwhinnie 15 Year Old Centenary Edition shop price around £100 although i have seen some websites trying to sell this for £350

Lochside (1981), Murray McDavid shop price around £110

These are shop prices i mention, you may only get half these amounts in a private sale

The Rosebank 1979, 20 Year Old, Rare Malts - you would probably pay around £200 in a shop for this

The Islay Mist 17 year old sells for around £40 in the shops but your bottle is the old packaging, they updated it last year i think. Not sure if it would really add much if any value. The Glenrothes 1979 probably be around £200
