Auchentoshan has launched a special limited edition, the Auchentoshan 1999 Bordeaux Cask Matured. Matured exclusively in French oak, the open grain of which helps develop a full oaky character. It is 11 years old and was bottled at cask strength 58% ABV, non chill-filtered and has an RRP of £46.99

Alastair,
I do believe its very different , this bottle is fully matured in wine casks while the other 1999 duty free version is finished in wine casks, i do think it is a long finish though and not the usuall few months... |
