Glenfarclas 40 Years Old was the highest scoring whisky in the recent Malt Whisky Society of Australia whisky awards. Coming top out of the 40 single malts entered in the competition, Glenfarclas 40 Year Old received a Gold Medal, and has been named Best Malt Whisky available in Australia.
Well deserved IMO, the 40 is another quality whisky from Glenfarlas and like all the Glenfarclas core range a decent price for an aged whisky.

| I agree well priced quality sherried whisky. Only had 1 bottle of the Glenfarclas 40 and it was excellent, i doubt you could find any 40 year old distillery bottling at this price and quality. The Glenfarclas 30is pretty much one of my regular drams now, in fact going to pour one now. |

I have been eyeing up a bottle of the Glenfarclas 40 for my soon 40th birthday. I wouldnt normally spend so much on a single bottle to drink but why not.  |
