Was just wondering if anyone had an incling of when next year's Whisky Fringe is going to be and when the tickets are due to go on sale.

I havent heard anything about it and noe mention of teh 2011 whisky fringe on the royal mile whiskies web site yet. They had a bit of trouble in 2010 with the license for the event which lead to tickets being released very late and they sold out in an hour i think. Many were disappointed and didnt get tickets.

I was one of the disappointed. It's getting harder to get tickets every year.

I havent heard so much as a whisper about when the tickets will be released for the 2011 event. I suspect it will be a mad dash for tickets again when they are released.

At least last year they posted on there site roughly when they expected tickets to be released but as you say not even a whisper this year.

Royal Mile Whiskies website has the dates of the whisky fringe being 6th and 7th August, with tickets sales still to be announced.

I spotted the other day that they had announced the dates. No doubt it is going to be another mad scramble for tickets when they do release them.

Tickets for our 10th annual Whisky Fringe will go on sale at 10:00am on Wednesday 18th May.

- No tickets can be reserved in advance.

- 4 tickets maximum per customer.

- Tickets only available to purchase online through our website (not in our shops).

- Please ensure you are registered beforehand, tickets sell out fast.

(Please note that Friday 5th is aimed more towards trade customers, but a limited number of tickets are available for general sale).
