You probably expected the Port Charlotte PC9 last year and now thought that there wasn't going to be a PC9 bottling, well here it is the last release before next year's full-release Port Charlotte 10 year old.

The Port Charlotte PC9 An Ataireachd Ard (The Surge Of The Sea) is the last limited release before the 2012 full-scale bottling. The PC9 was produced with 40 PPM heavily peated spirit then aged in American Oak Casks then bottled at 59.2% ABV, of course it is non-chill-filtered and colouring free - just how we like it and as it should be! This is a limited edition of only 6000 sequentially numbered bottles. Available from late September 2011, RRP £70.

I didnt think that a PC9 was going to happen when they released the Port Charlotte An Turas Mor last year which they promoted as the coming of age PC. I expected to see the PC 10 year old as the next release, but i am not complaining Very Happy

I think perhaps they have put the PC10 release off so it doesnt over shadow the new Laddie 10. Cheers for the heads up on the PC9 William, i for one didnt think it was going to happen.
