Is it true that this whisky has gone out of production ?

I havent seen it for a while, i am pretty sure it has been discontinued, maybe someone here can confirm it.

gone out of production. It was made obsolete a few years ago now so it
is unlikely you will find any in store.

I think they discontinued the Islay Cask around the time they released the Black Grouse, i never had the Islay Cask myself but i would think the Black Grouse will have more smoky Islay influence as it contains Islay whisky and the Islay Cask was only finished in an Islay cask so i would think it would have had a very light smokiness.

I had a bottle of this 4 or 5 years ago. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I see your question's already been answered here but I asked in the Famous Grouse shop a couple of weeks ago to be told that it had, sadly, been discontinued.
