What are the ten most collectable distillery malts in your opinion? And why? I sometimes question the quality of some very collectable malts, and wonder why others aren't even regarded enough to be collected, but that's personal opinion I guess. _________________ Regards, |

Collectable and drinkable are not always the same thing. There will always be the iconic distilleries who can release anything and there will be a queue of people to buy it.
Limited edition single cask bottling from distilleries such as Glenfiddich, Glenmorangie, Ardbeg, Highland Park, Macallan will always be sought after and very collectable |

Shame on me....Im in the queue for Glenfiddich.
I have 2 foundation reserves, a couple of snow phoenix a 1991 and a toasted oak.
I enjoy Glenfiddich, so they are collectable to me. many were gifts from my son on fathers day or xmas etc so are sentimental too. |

I still have 1 bottle of the Foundation Reserve tucked away but i have now drunk my Snow Phoenix. |

Most closed distilleries are very collectable especially the ones you have mentioned. Lochside could also become very sought after in the future. |
