What are the ten most collectable distillery malts in your opinion? And why? I sometimes question the quality of some very collectable malts, and wonder why others aren't even regarded enough to be collected, but that's personal opinion I guess.

Collectable and drinkable are not always the same thing. There will always be the iconic distilleries who can release anything and there will be a queue of people to buy it.

Limited edition single cask bottling from distilleries such as Glenfiddich, Glenmorangie, Ardbeg, Highland Park, Macallan will always be sought after and very collectable

Shame on me....Im in the queue for Glenfiddich.

I have 2 foundation reserves, a couple of snow phoenix a 1991 and a toasted oak.
I enjoy Glenfiddich, so they are collectable to me. many were gifts from my son on fathers day or xmas etc so are sentimental too.

The good thing about Glenfiddich limited edtion bottlings is they are both very collectable and very drinkable. I still have 1 bottle of the Foundation Reserve tucked away but i have now drunk my Snow Phoenix.

Most closed distilleries are very collectable especially the ones you have mentioned. Lochside could also become very sought after in the future.
