But i will settle for a couple bottles of the Lagavulin 12.
The Port Ellen and Brora will be excellent but getting beyond my budget for being drinkable but are getting more and more collectable. |

| Why did they bottle the Knockando 25 at only 43%? I am sure it is a good whisky to have made it into the special releases but they didnt need to reduce the abv so much. |

I wonder if i will regret in 10 years time not buying as many Port Ellens and Broras as i could.
The Port Dundas 20 year old 1990 is the one that stands out for me in this release as i doubt we will see many more (if any) releases like this. |

| For drinking you can still find some Port Ellen and Brora bottlings at half the price but they may not be worth £1000 or maybe a lot more in 10 years or so. The Diageo special release Port Ellen and Brora are defintely a couple of bottlings which will make money but the question is how much money. |

Yes you certainly will. The same goes for Rosebank, Lochside and St Magdelane |

| From a drinking whisky point of view, it would be great to see a Lagavulin 12 cask strength but double matured in a Pedro Ximenez cask like the distillers edition. |

A Lagavulin 12 and a Port Dundas 20 will do for me. I know i would only end up opening the Brora or Port Ellen if i got them with the intention of putting them in the collection as i did it before
When are they due to hit the shops, anyone know? |
