Me too Very Happy

But i will settle for a couple bottles of the Lagavulin 12.

The Port Ellen and Brora will be excellent but getting beyond my budget for being drinkable but are getting more and more collectable.

Why did they bottle the Knockando 25 at only 43%? I am sure it is a good whisky to have made it into the special releases but they didnt need to reduce the abv so much.

I wonder if i will regret in 10 years time not buying as many Port Ellens and Broras as i could.

The Port Dundas 20 year old 1990 is the one that stands out for me in this release as i doubt we will see many more (if any) releases like this.

For drinking you can still find some Port Ellen and Brora bottlings at half the price but they may not be worth £1000 or maybe a lot more in 10 years or so. The Diageo special release Port Ellen and Brora are defintely a couple of bottlings which will make money but the question is how much money.

Yes you certainly will. The same goes for Rosebank, Lochside and St Magdelane

From a drinking whisky point of view, it would be great to see a Lagavulin 12 cask strength but double matured in a Pedro Ximenez cask like the distillers edition.

A Lagavulin 12 and a Port Dundas 20 will do for me. I know i would only end up opening the Brora or Port Ellen if i got them with the intention of putting them in the collection as i did it before Confused

When are they due to hit the shops, anyone know?
