This might sound like a strange request but does any one know where i can get a poster of this "BIG PEAT" image without the award symbol in the top left corner. It is a unique present i want to get for a friend whos house is actually on the label of the bottle?

no idea! email the company and request a copy of the original or the artists details? never tried big peat, its on the hit list!

The guys from DL do alot of tastings at the club so will ask next time i see one of them.
Yes Alan i know that, so if a can get a poster / print framed and a bottle will be a good present

John its not a christmas gift is it? If so DL have a cask strength version of Big Peat out for christmas.

| I am sure this will fly off the shelves as a christmas gift, i bet there will be a few unsuspecting recipients of this in for a bit of a surprise with a cask strength Islay peat monster |

It is a small batch release for Christmas as AFAIK, dont know any exact numbers but i suspect it will sell fast as it will appeal to both the enthusiasts and gift buyers.
There is a good video on youtube where Whisky Comedian Alan Anderson interviews Fred Laing who describes Big Peat at Christmas in song!

Cheers William, i think i will get myself a bottle. I am sure this will go fast when word of it gets out, Big Peat is a great dram and i am sure this will be popular amongst the peatheads. |
